About me

Brittanie Brooks Nichols

My name is Brittanie Brooks Nichols, I have a degree in law from Suffolk University School of Law, in Boston, Massachusetts.

I have always been passionate about animals, even from a very young age. Over the years I've rescued, fostered or owned every type of animal you could imagine; from ducks, pigs, dogs, cats, parrots, and guinea pigs to goats.

But I've always had a soft spot for dogs. I've owed every breed from tiny teacup yorkie-poos to 150lbs mastiffs, and everywhere in between.

But in 2015 I fell in love with the Doberman Pinscher breed. I brought home my first doberman, Gideon in the Summer of 2015, two months before I moved cross country for law school. He was my solace and best friend on all those long study nights in law school and in late 2016 he saved my life when a burglar tried breaking into my apartment. Gideon operated on pure instinct and sent that would-be burglar running for the hills. Gideon passed unexpectedly two years ago, but his impact and our bond spurs me on to help other animals. It's Gideon's silhouette you'll see on my law firm logo.

My love for Gideon and all animals, in combination with a client I met in early 2025, is what inspired me to form AllBrooks Law.

In 2025 I was approached by a client who was a local dog breeder. she had built a reputable breeding program over the years, turned out championship dogs and was well respected in the dog community. Unfortunately, she had a new puppy owner who was giving her some  issues. The new owner claimed that the puppy she had purchased suffered from a rare genetic defect and this individual felt she had not only a right to be reimbursed for insane amount of vet bills but the right to keep the puppy as well. However, I challenged her to provide evidence that the puppy had actually been diagnosed with this alleged genetic defect, and I fought for my client's puppy contract to be upheld. Ultimately, I was able to prove that there was nothing in fact wrong with the puppy, and it had all been a scam to get money from the breeder. I successfully restored my client's reputation and justice prevailed.

This case opened my eyes to what was so obviously missing in the animal community - an advocate - not only for the animals, but for the breeders.

Whatever issues you or your animals may be facing - I'd love to help. Please give me a call or send me an email.
